For the past couple of months several of us have been beavering away in the background making our Canadian scrapper friend a farewell mini-book and present it to her at our All-Day crop in April, which will be Sheri's last crop with us, although she is hoping to come to A Maze of Memories in June.
Sheri joined our group in 2006 and since then has been an absolute delight to have with us. Every month she has supplied us with her delicious baking and huge enthusiam for everything she does. She has also helped many of us out with cheaper Cricut mats and blades and her contribution to the group has been massive!!! Unfortunately for us Sheri will be returning to the States shortly so we decided to make her the book and do a collection for some flowers etc. We decided on the theme of what we thought she would miss about England, and also a picture and a little bit about ourselves.
Tina also made a beautiful card for everyone to sign, but unfortunately this didnt photograph well. We need an official group Photographer or 2, so any volunteers please see either myself or Tina a.s.a.p.
Many people contributed to the book. We decided on a 8 x 8 double layout (some people did get that bit a little bit wrong, but Tina with her magic hands was able to sort this out, plus made the front and back covers, and used her Bind-it-All to put it all together for us). We also bought Sheri a lovely box of Thorntons chocolates, a £20 gift voucher for A Maze of Memories and some flowers.
I am still waiting for some pictures to come in, but as you can see from what we have here, there is no wonder Sheri was lost for words!
