August Meetings

On the Friday night we had a new lady join us, Welcome Liz!. It was good to see everyone again after our long break. We had a good discussion about our All-Day crop in September, and also about a Class booked for the Friday Nighters in November. Christina from A Maze of Memories is coming to teach a class!! The page is lovely. I will send out more details when I have them.

We had 4 entries for the 'Summer Challenge', which was to scrap lift any of the pages on here, and they took pride of place on our 'Wall of Fame'. We are going to set a different challenge every month. September's Challenge is 'Autumn', either a card or a page, or whatever you fancy! I had a last minute panic Friday night as I realised I didnt have a prize for this, but managed to hunt out a BOG-OF which was won by Sheri and her 'Butterfly' page. Well done Sheri. I cant guarantee such a prize every month, we will see how the challenge goes.

Thanks Lizzie for taking the photos of the pages as the battery in my camera had died. I have asked Lizzie to be our official photographer, so expect her to be flashing around with her new Panasonic ZX18, and very nice it is Lizzie (I want one!)
