We had a fantastic weekend, from 7.00pm Friday evening to 4.00pm Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately we did have to go home inbetween !
Friday evening everyone did their own thing in the smaller hall and Jen set up the large hall ready for the next day, and what a day it was !!!
We had a wonderful day playing with lots of different techniques. Many of them we hadn't used before. Jen took control of the whole day and was so organised everyone was thoroughly spoilt.
We all supplied messy mats and aprons and really got our hands dirty using all the different mediums that Jen had supplied. We made 2 tag books of different techniques and there was lots of ooohs and ahhhhs as everyones work was so different.
We also made a 'Ho-Ho-Ho' banner, once again using all sorts of different techniques. Jen idea was that people would gain confidence in using materials that they hadnt used before. The tables got in a mess, we got in a mess, we laughed and really enjoyed a wonderful day.
Sue arrived late and Sarah (thank you Sarah) sat with her and helped her to catch up.
Jen also supplied the food. The idea was to have a BBQ in the carpark, but we ate inside and it was lovely.
We all went home at 9.00pm, very tired, but just buzzing with ideas for our next page.

On the Sunday everyone was very prompt in arriving and soon settled down once again. There were instructions for a 'Happy Christmas' banner (thank you Christine and sorry for cutting your head off !)
Alison also supplied the instructions for making a Flag book which was also very popular.
All in all we had a fantastic weekend, and hopefully we can do it again soon !
